gotham comedy club owner chris mazilli has had a life long obsession with corvettes, particularly the ‘lost’ 1983 ‘vette. we had fun creating titles and visualizations for the documentary that followed his journey building that car.
our client’s initial hope for the main title was to capture the history and essence of the corvette brand, while instilling a touch of mystery. you can see where we landed above, and some of our exploration below … we got pretty close with style A

every year corvette has been around, there’s been a new model of the car released. except in 1983, when due to various factors, that year’s version never came out. the throughline of the doc is chris and his team’s effort to create what that corvette would have looked like by combining elements of old and new models of the car. we came up with this 3D blueprint look to help visualize their process of making those modifications.
